It seems quite inadequate to stay in a hotel and be inside a casino which is virtually open 24 hours without being able to get a bite to eat. The only option for getting food Monday through Wednesday on premises is the grill which is open 11:00 am to 10:00 pm and gets boring after a couple meals. That is unless you've mastered scrambling eggs in a coffee cup on the coffee maker and making toast with an iron, so you may want to bring milk, cold cereal or muffins from home, my friend. There is a 'dorm size' refrigerator in the guest room but no microwave or other means of providing yourself a hot breakfast (or popcorn at night) without leaving the building. There is absolutely no in-house breakfast option and no dining at all before 11:00 am. Hotel guests Monday through Wednesday will find themselves in a dining desert. If what you're looking for is a total inclusive experience you will be disappointed. Harrahs Metropolis somewhat leaves a lot to be desired.
